Garlic Hummus

Serve with tortilla chips or warmed up naan/pita bread, carrots, and cucumbers.


One 15 ounce can Garbanzo beans (drained and rinsed)
2 Tbsp lemon juice
1/4 cup tahini
1 tsp minced garlic
2 Tbsp olive oil
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp ground cumin


  1. In a food processor combine the tahini and lemon juice for 30 - 60 seconds
  2. Add olive oil, minced garlic, cumin, salt to the food processor and process another 30-60 seconds
  3. Add chickpeas and process for 1-2 minutes
  4. Add water 1 tbsp at a time until everything is blended and hummus is at desired consistency
