Easy recipe to make the night before and just heat up in the morning
Ingredients
16 slices white bread (crusts removed)
8 slices cheddar cheese
1 lb. sausage
3 cups milk
1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
1/2 teaspoon salt
10 eggs beaten
3/4 cup crushed corn flakes
1/4 cup melted butter
Directions
- Butter 1 side of 8 slices bread, put buttered side down in 9x13 dish.
- Spread sausage
- Layer cheese
- Put rest of bread on top
- Combine eggs, milk, mustard, salt and pour evenly over bread
- Refrigerate 8-10 hours
- Take out 1.5 hours before baking
- Mix corn flakes with melted butter. Spread evently over top and bake @ 350 degrees for 1 hour 20 minutes
